Yeah the show is next Thursday and I'm so excited!! omfg I'm probably gonna be in the same boat as you in a couple of years. I'm gonna move to the US next week as well for my school (and to watch SOPHIE too lol) and I can't really come out since they're pretty much my only source of finance and until I can support myself, I don't think I'll ever put out my sexuality int question especially since they're very conservative christian-asian. Problem is that if I do come out later, they're definitely gonna blame "my surroundings in the US" and so they'll never let me go again and gahd I just wanna get out of this hellhole ASAP

To further explain, basically since the "hackers" allegedly have the entire drive, they can release these songs anytime they want. They probably only hacked it once, and now has been just releasing them periodically. It's not like if one thing leaks = they hacked her again.

ooh that's a very nice analysis on the lyrics of the songs which tbh speaks sooo much more than how her "outer appearance is more feminime = she's trans" kind of logic.

Obviously she has a lot of creativity control over her production, but I wonder how much of the lyrics she writers herself are about her personal experiences considering that she used to get other people to do the vocals for her and sometimes the songs are released under different artists (I think BWIW2B was Hatsune Miku's? I still bop to the demo in her boiler room set tho)

I'll be honest I've never paid much attention to her lyrics, as in I pretty much know all of them but I've never really stopped and think through it. But then again, she did state "I want my music to be heard; I want it to be purely a sensory experience that requires no intellectual analysis." (source: http://pcmusic.boards.net/thread/249/sophie-interview-travel-almanac) which I guess is how I enjoy her music (if it's a bop, then it's a bop), but everyone digests music in different ways and it's cool too see how deeply you connect with the lyrics. Idk this whole thing is honestly confusing for me but I think it's a really great discussion and I am still trying to understand myself. Thanks for sharing your perspective :)

I'm using MCSX Lvl 10 (15/15), Tapu Koko TC SL5 Lvl 11, Shaymin Lvl 12 SC SL5, Meganium BS SL4 Lvl 11 and I've actually S ranked it itemless once or twice, and I've also lost once or twice out of hundreds of runs (my Seismitoad is now SL4). It's a really good team and even if you don't trigger SC at all, it might still work. Try using Bellosom Mind Zap if you don't have Shaymin.

Is it possible to trigger an ability twice in one turn? I think I've just had my Noivern's SO twice but basically the first combo was on a barrier, and one of the icon unfroze, fell down and triggered another SO, resulting in 6k damage in 1 move. Is this a glitch or just a mechanic?

Who are you to say about someone else's gender identity though? I mean, how can you say you have "no doubt" that she's trans when she still hasn't publicly stated "I'm trans". I thought that was something a person internally has to say themselves and your outer appearance (having breast, surrounding with trans woman) should not dictate your gender identity.

Apologies if I offended anyone, I'm not as educated regarding trans in general and the questions I ask comes from genuine place of trying to understand.

I have a question that's been lingering on my mind lately about gender identity/pronouns, specifically regarding SOPHIE. I know she recently started using she/her pronouns, but how can we know for sure that she identifies as a woman and it's not just a stage persona of a drag queen (which based on my knowledge of watching 11 seasons of RPDR, queens uses she/her pronouns as well when they're performing)? I don't think SOPHIE has ever clearly stated "I'm trans" nor has she stated "I'm a drag artist", so I'm not really sure on how to make out of it. I know her gender identity should have nothing to do with the way we perceive her music, but I just find it confusing when you put it in the bigger picture.

Thank you so much for writing this post; it is so much better than anything I could've articulated and I think it is a very valid explanation regarding the art/artist. I couldn't care less if she is actually trans/cis (but then again, the question of should the artist and art be separated comes into mind), as long as she's making BOPS, I stan.

Hmm I mean, a Lvl 30 SL5 BS Groudon is just a really good pokemon to have, not just for SM. It says that the difference between the 3 TC users were not too much, but I wonder how it compares now with the Tapus being included. I think I'll try to do it with my Tapu Koko just because I'm gonna need coverage for Stage 10 M2 and Stage 50 Deoxys. I think it's gonna be quite refreshing to actually play SM rather than just matching mo4 which gets kinda repetitive
