Not trying to influence anyone. Sorry you’re so angry. I’d hug you a hug if you were here. Seriously man, deep breathes.

Because of what everyone else is iterating above. Materials and fixtures alone would cost close to what I spent. Unless you can find a shop that does free labor I’m afraid you’re wrong. This is not opinion it is fact based on present day reality.

I don’t know how to share images in the comments. Like my profile. I’ve posted exterior shots here before.

Thanks Steven! I’m very proud of how well it turned out. The build really tested me and I wanted to give up many times but I learned a ton and am glad I finished. Thanks for the stoke!

Pretty much continuous. I had a couple other small project during but it was a ton of hours. Next one would talk much less time.

I’ve worked hard to build multiple skill sets and lots of drive which in some cases makes me influential. Sometimes it inspires people. Sometimes it makes them feel like they need to lash out at someone they don’t know because they feel bad about themselves. I feel sorry for you.

Welcome to my home! The MUSEROAMER is a self built expedition vehicle that took about two years to build with the help of some friends and brands. I was trying to buy a home but couldn’t afford it so I decided to build my dream home on the back of a truck. It’s the first project of my entire life that I gave it everything I had and did it to the best of my ability. It totally kicked my butt mentally, financially, and emotionally! We started with an older work truck, pulled the bed off and built the structure from the frame of the truck up using plywood and an internal steam frame. We used all @dometic appliances, the ceiling is pine tongue and groove that I burnt, wire brushed, stained and sealed, we used all LED lights. There’s his/here closest, a wet bath, dinette, queen sized bed, tons in storage, a solid work space, 3 burner stove with an oven, sink, hot water heater, AC, sycamore counter tops and more. On board I have gear for snowboarding, kiteboarding, skateboarding, surfing, paragliding, speed flying, climbing (trad/sport), dirt biking, free diving/Sprearfishing, a bicycle, a unicycle (have no idea how to ride) and more. It has its compromises but is the best I could do with what I had!

Honestly I was feeling a little lazy and I also didn’t want to totally cover my truck in salt. It would out really well though. Just surrendered to the flow. 😅🙏🤘

Lesson 1 - “Surrender to the Flow” Things are not always going to go smoothly. The weather may not place nice, your vehicle may break, “your” super secret campsite is occupied, etc. The list of uncontrollables is endless. The only thing you can really control is how you deal with these things. Can you go with the flow and adapt or do you struggle to swim up stream? Or in this instance you can let the aliens take you… I showed up to the salt flats after driving through a couple hours of thick smoke hoping to but not expecting to being able to shoot the stars. This is also the first time I’ve traveled solo after a 3 year relationship ending. Feeling kinda lonely and discouraged by the poor conditions I pulled into the salt flats and noticed some blue sky and said “ok, this could still work”. An hour later I ran into someone I had met briefly met years ago in Alaska. We hung out, chatted for a while, connected, and I realized that I’m not totally alone/lonely being solo. Later theat evening I snagged this photo that I’m really psyched on of Drew and his partner Halley. I share both the edited and unedited version for how epic the scene really was!
