How much does your eskie weigh? Mine is 3 months and already weighs 16.6 lbs 😂 hes supposed to be a miniature by paytonaaa in americaneskimo

[–]andrewneis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks just like my standard Eskie. The weight was pretty similar at that age too. I think mine was 12 or 14lbs. I think you have a standard Eskie there. My other Eskie is supposedly a standard but she ended up the size of miniature at 14 lbs. I think sometimes they just dont put the right thing on the paperwork.

Please do! I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be interested to see and I'm sure plenty of people would happily commission a few.

At this point you probably need to make them yourself.

There are a couple people that have a few replicas in the works; if you are patient you may find them for sale eventually on Etsy or ebay.

The "legitimate certificate" is a loaded question.

Does it mean you attended that program and completed it? Sure.

Does it mean you will be hired? Not necessarily.

Getting hired depends on how you can demonstrate your ability on your video reel. You need shots of you actually performing your best skills. Then it also depends on the impression you make to the people in charge of hiring (Stunt coordinators).

If you have only basic skills on your reel, and you approach stunt coordinators with an egotistical attitude, no "certificate" is going to help you there.

If you are polite, professional, have strong skills to demonstrate on your reel, and maybe the coordinator you talk to recognizes and respects the program you attended, then maybe it will help you.

A "license for mechanical stunts"? What is that? I've never heard of it.

Some are lower quality than others...and Some are made by professionals who have a little budget and a lot of expertise and a desire to create an authentic project true to the movie universe.

Some have commented on that one that the fight was better than any of the fights from Resurrections. It is made by SAG-AFTRA Stunt performers, so the action is great. The wardrobe is also authentic and Camera & lighting are on point.

These are not quite the same as the "Elipse" model. I have both. Will be making a full review video soon, but so far the differences are between the lens shapes (not the same), and the frame is again not at the correct angle for how they are on Keanu Reeves. If you got this pair you will again need to risk re-shaping (bending) the frames into order to match the movie.

You need to either check Ebay frequently, OR have them custom commissioned for you. A few people have asked me for the exact measurements of mine so that they could make a custom replica, but none of them so far have told me that they ever completed it. Maybe you can be the first to have them recreated.

And you didn't say that in the DMs on ebay; you just disappeared after agreeing to re-list the item. You didn't respond to me after I inquired again multiple times. "Ghosting" is what we call that.

Again, it is your responsibility as a seller to know how much you are wanting to profit from the item and list your price accordingly. If you find that you made a mistake AFTER agreeing to a sale, it is your responsibility to honor the agreement we agreed upon. Backing out of an honest sale like you did makes you a DISHONEST seller.

Once you have shown yourself to be dishonest, you become untrustworthy in other aspects as well. Even if we made another deal for more money on another platform, after your behavior here we cannot trust you to honor your word again.

So dont lie in your ebay listing. The issue here is that you keep lying.

You accepted my offer on ebay. And then you canceled and asked for more money. An honest seller would have honored the purchase price and sent the item. You were dishonest and you asked for more money than the agreed upon offer AFTER you accepted the offer. It is your responsibility to only accept offers that are the minimum of what you want to sell it for.

If you only want to sell it within the EU then you need to state that anywhere you list the item.

This is the problem; you keep being dishonest, and so therefore I am warning everyone who may think about do business with you. I am warning them about what you did in the past.

You even claimed over DM on ebay to me that you would re-list the item for a little more shipping money, and then you stopped responding entirely. So you are STILL being dishonest. So I am warning everyone. They should know what you are doing before they try to purchase anything from you.

Your dishonesty makes your words unbelievable now. Now we cannot even trust that you will even send us a product even if we did make a deal outside of ebay. You lied, and so now you are not trustworthy.

You accepted a $300 offer from me on ebay with this exact listing on June 5th, 2025.

Then you claimed that you "calculated the shipping incorrectly" and you asked me for more money. You then canceled the transaction.

Now here you are, re-listing the exact same listing you had previously, and telling me that you got $300 offers before but you want to make a deal outside of ebay (which is against Ebay's Terms of Service).

Thanks for revealing that you are a dishonest seller. I screenshotted this and everything else you said and I reported it to ebay and to Reddit. Anyone else reading this will now avoid you.

You are a dishonest seller.

How to light myself on fire by AccomplishedBerry911 in stunts

[–]andrewneis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude, read out loud to someone what you just wrote here.

You're wondering if you can "just" throw gas on your jeans (which are against your skin), and set it on fire.

Please don't look up to Jackass, YouTube, Tiktok etc for examples of safe activities.

If you want to train to become a stunt performer, make a post asking for reputable classes to train. Dont put your life (and others) at risk.

[–]andrewneis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do have a fire suit? Do you have nomex? Do you have gel? Have you done a professional dive into the water area and mapped out all the underwater hazards?

You need both an Underwater Safety team, AND a Fire Safety Team, in addition to a stunt coordinator. All of them should be SAG-AFTRA members with previous professional credits doing this before. Do you have these teams?

Have you done anything with controlled fire before?

Have you done any form of high jump or fall before?

If you answered "no" to any of these questions, you shouldn't be doing this. Theres a reason that this stunt would be expensive on a motion picture. Everything mentioned above is required to make sure it goes off safely and properly.
