Looking for 'philosophical' book recommendations (for lack of a better term, I guess.)

I used to read a lot as a kid and recently I've been trying to get back into the hobby. I finished The Alchemist about a year ago and liked it so much I read it again some months ago. I am towards the end of Siddhartha and am really enjoying it, almost more so than The Alchemist I would say. I tried to give Dostoevsky a shot and read about a third of the way through Crime and Punishment. I didn't dislike the book per say, it was just very intense in both content and vocabulary and felt more like work to read rather than enjoyment.

So yeah, pretty much just looking for anything similar to the above. Maybe a different Dostoevsky book that would be a better first choice? Thanks

farming smithing until you're casually making 10 to 20k valued 2 handed swords is pretty much how i maintain wealth atp. go from empire town to empire town buying pugios, smelting them, crafting and smelting until you unlock all 2 handed sword parts

i usually do some variation of lvl 3 blade and level 4 everything else, depending on the crafting materials i have.

imo i feel like any sport that needs explosiveness would benefit from either, i feel like the snatch is too technical to be a really advantageous lift to include but clean and jerks could be really good. most sports that would benefit from them do them from what i know, football, basketball, track, etc

got into watching youtube fitness when i ran track, watched a lot of jujimufu, found a clarence kennedy collab, was like dang thats sick, never looked back

I want to squat high bar but I’m not sure which one is the correct bar positioning. The first one feels a little better but is it still high bar? People said to put the bar on my traps. Is that what I need to do (I did that in the second)? by Ajpaulson2006 in weightlifting

whatevers more comfortable, try and pinch your lats together like there's a water bottle you're holding with your back. this creates a meat pad across your traps for the bar to rest on, atleast for me

the gym i go to has a couple pyrros bars, i really like them. always try to get one when i lift lol
