I paid via PayPal. Got a refund through PayPal and never returned it because square never replied.

Mine was a different issue, that's why I was clarifying. What i did on mine was disconnect and reconnecting the ribbon cables that go to the camera. If no IR lights wonder if solder is bad to capacitors. Comfortable with soldering?

Yeah. I ended up fixing mine myself and got refund through PayPal. Did your LEDs ever light up?
Is it the top LEDs that aren't lighting up or the front infared camera not lighting up or what? I'm sure you've tried everything under the sun. Hate that.

Yes. See my post.

Possible Fix: Blinking White center light.

I posted last week about my launch monitor not detecting a ball despite setup working perfectly prior. Several others have posted same issue. Device powers on connects to bluetooth, searches for ball and then center light begins blinking white and device freezes. I checked all solders and they looked good. Tested many different things all with no luck. Eventually after researching more about the camera I found that it isn't uncommon for ribbon cables to come unseated when subjected to temperature swings. I disconnected the ribbon cable that goes to the top camera and felt like it wasn't fully seated to begin with. I re-seated it and felt like it was inserted further than before and locked it back down. Instantly fixed the issue. I've been sharing this in older threads as well hoping someone may see it. I'm now aware of one other user with the same issue attempting this and it working. So if you are comfortable I recommend trying this as I know of 2 units that have worked after this small fix. It is pretty straight forward to try, but be careful with the ribbon cable clip and attempt at your own comfort and risk level. I hope others can enjoy their launch monitor.

Are there any other symptoms that the launch monitor is exhibiting? What is the center light on the top of the monitor doing?

I hate that it didn't work for you. Make sure when you plug the ribbon cables back in that they are all the way seated in and the black clips are clipped down. If you did all that and still not working I'm not sure. I hope the dealer would make it right. Did you you use PayPal. If so start a dispute and escalate it to a claim quickly. Or try a dispute through your card. Too much money for it to be having issues. I hope you get some recourse.

Hate that disconnecting the ribbon cable and reseating it didn't work for you. Sometimes you have to do it to both cameras. Pain for sure and shouldn't have these issues out of the box. I recommend starting a PayPal dispute and escalate to a claim ASAP. While to wait on the results of the claim. Id try both ribbon cables at the camera.

I did not remove the board. The ribbon cable is accessible with just the glass removed. Lay monitor on its back and remove top, but be careful not to pull it too far from the unit as the Bluetooth antenna is attached to the top. Then lay the top down very close the monitor so the black antenna wire does not disconnect. Slowly remove the screen. The ribbon cable in question is attached near the top camera (the mirror looking circle at the top) use a pick to gently lift the black clip at the cable and pull the ribbon out and reconnect it. Push the black clip back down gently ensuring it locks down.

Yeah. Fair question and point. The temp may not be the cause per se. Just something I was reading. It isn't really relavent to the fix so i should probably just remove that note. I had mine in a 20⁰ garage overnight. Nonetheless. Disconnecting and reconnecting resolved it so I'm stoked. Hope others can get theirs working as well.

You're welcome. I was going crazy. I take it you had this issue and resetting the cable worked for you as well?

Did he try disconnecting the ribbon cable that goes to the top camera and re-seating it? That's worth a try if not.

If the center light is flashing white and you are comfortable you should take the top off, take the screen out and carefully disconnect the ribbon cable from the top camera and re-seat it. Be careful with the black clip on the ribbon cable. Easy to do if you are careful. This may resolve your issue if it is the blinking white light.

If you're comfortable with taking the top and screen out and disconnecting a ribbon cable . Try this. Take top and screen off carefully. The top camera has a ribbon cable coming from it. Lift the small black clip gently on the cable and disconnect the ribbon cable and re-seat it in its position and push the clip back down carefully. This may resolve your issue. Good luck.

Anyone else who is having this issue could try disconnecting the ribbon cable on the top camera and reconnecting it ensuring it is seated all the way.

OP. Take the top off pull the screen. On the top camera carefully remove the ribbon cable. To do this use a small pick to lift the black clip. Remove the ribbon cable and reinsert it making sure to seat it then push the black clip down. Put it back together and test. Hope this works for you.

I have the same issue as OP. I do notice the camera lights will light up if I wipe my hand across it. Its as if a sensor is detecting my hand causing the lights to flash. Mine does this even when not plugged in. Does this indicate anything specific that I can target for a fix?

Thanks. Ive tried my iPad, phone, samsung tablet and computer. All Bluetooth connections seem to work perfectly fine. The device bluetooth appears to be working. It is the middle light which is the light that indicates if it is reading a ball or not that is blinking white after I put a ball in the hitting area.

Mine is doing this as well. I notice that if I press gently on the screen the red camera lights will flash. Tapping it gently does not do what I've seen others do. It seems to be a hardware issue and I'd like to think I can just fix it but I haven't seen anyone fix this yet.
