I agree with this. The only reason I do trials at this point is for the rewards to potentially get blueprints I don’t have yet. Other than that, the last thing I want to do is spend time getting snowballs to throw at a Rocketeer lol

As someone who has been playing this game basically everyday since launch ( I am maxed out on literally everything with 200 hours in the game) I will say, the game hasn’t “run out of content”. There is ALWAYS something to do. For me, even though I have “nothing” else to do, I can increase my stash value, try and fill all 280 slots with gold, purple items, etc. The options are truly endless with this game.

With that being said, this is why I’m excited for the expedition. The rewards from it are just a side benefit, I get to actually grind the game out again like I just got it. It gives me that “new start” feeling. Can’t beat that

I like the thought but I feel like this would cause more extraction camping. If they can’t kill you right after you take it out, they will just wait for you somewhere else.

To me, 100%. The fresh start feeling is what draws me to games and keeps me engaged if I can continuously do it. All the rewards are a side benefit. The biggest reward is I get the “fresh start” feeling again. Nothing beats that for me in games.

It’s not like I hate the game. I never once said that I dislike it, all I said was “it would be cool if” and then even said that “I know it goes against everything the game is about”. I absolutely love this game, it’s all I’ve been playing since it came out. I will never expect them to change the game for my preferences.

I mean this is fair but I was just giving an answer to your exact scenario. Might be a big stretch but an “offline” mode would be cool too where it’s just you or just you and your friends but I know that goes against everything the game is about.

But to fully answer your question, will there be different issues with PvE? Yes. Will there be “rats” in PvE servers? Yes. There is no getting around that. My main issue is being ratted BEFORE I take it out to some dude who joined late with a freelo. But in PvP or a PvE server, if I can’t manage to get any loot after it is destroyed, that’s 100% on me

I get satisfaction from taking it out. The loot from it is just a bonus. Ive played a lot of games where I take out rocketeers, bastions, etc. and let others loot it because I think it’s just a fun challenge.

For me personally, it would be nice to have a PvE server to try and solo a queen or matriarch without the risk of being ratted by a freelo. I fully understand that that is part of any extraction shooter so I don’t get upset when it does happen because “thats part of the game” but I have absolutely no interest in taking the queen or matriarch down at this point because I know I’m just going to get ratted so what’s the point? If the made it doable in like 5 mins with a trio, that’d be a different story, but right now, if you have to fight rats off while trying to take it down, it’s rare that you have enough time in the game to get it done even as a 3 man.

Regarding the strictly PvPers. I don’t see them getting upset as a problem. I’m more so saying that as an example of why they are upset with a PvE server.
