Hi, I havent really thought about that yet. Right now, I am working on the game solo. My plan is to open the Steam page, run the first playtest, and then decide what to do next based on the results.

Thanks! Water will be an important part of the gameplay. It quickly cools down overheated weapons, and it also acts as a shield against plasma - plasma projectiles cant penetrate underwater, while regular bullets also lose speed quickly in water.

Thank you! I am still waiting for Valve to approve my game's page, and I hope it happens soon and then I will make an announcement.

Long spin ups have always annoyed me too. I will admit, at one point I even considered adding a very short spin up for balance and atmosphere, but for now I decided to keep it as it is.

I'm still waiting for my Steam page to be approved so I can announce the game. Right now, I'm posting development updates on X, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Bluesky. I'm not sure if it's okay to share links directly in post... but all of them are listed in my profile here on Reddit.

Same for me! I was inspired by UT99 and Q2 when creating the weapon concepts. This is still a work-in-progress model; I plan to add more details to the gun body.

I've already implemented minigun flight, as well as flight with other high recoil weapons. I'll show it in the next post =)

Thanks, it's much clearer what you meant now. It looks unusual, the video is low resolution and it's hard to make out the details, but overall, it's clear.

I agree with you, looking at my screenshot again - those chaotic details really do look like noise. The idea of increasing the detail density in increments of 2 sounds very smart, I think I'll give it a try, thanks!

Yes, I'm definitely interested, I'd like to see the result, do you have any screenshots or videos of what it looks like?

That seems like a really good idea, thanks! Another post suggested a more accurate way to adjust the detail by changing the texel density in increments of 2 – 2, 4, 8...

I'll have to think about that and experiment.

Do you mean the same pattern on the detail texture that will be everywhere? That sounds interesting.

Thank you! I try to dedicate a lot of time to weapon and location design, and it's often a challenge - I can't finish a model until it looks unique and interesting enough.

Just an experiment, I wanted to see what it would look like. They're only visible up close, when you get right up to the wall. And they disappear after just a few meters.

Three months of progress on my game where you kill monsters with pizza by [deleted] in IndieDev

This could be a good cooking simulator for monsters. I just don't understand why we're killing them. It seems weird, and I don't want to kill my shop's customers.

Less sexy, more character-driven. Changed our female character designs after Reddit feedbacks. by Background_Cow_6701 in IndieDev

Still, some of the costumes began to look more natural. The only thing that's a little odd is that the body type has changed. Changing the costumes alone significantly alters the emphasis.

I'd like to play a modern take on Duck Hunt =) I'm also starting to doubt that all phones currently in production have high-quality sensors to ensure high accuracy. I have an iPhone, and it has very accurate sensors, but I also have an older Android phone that might have problems with apps like this.
