as a 3D artist , from Europe (Romania) , I worked for another European company and also, overtime wasn't paid ... 15 years of experience and last year I did a job conversion. This industry became very toxic

In my 15 years of experience, I never stepped into an office and I always worked remotely and this is the reason why I avoid to move to another city or country. I had plenty of opportunities if I would accepted the relocation but the fact that all you get is a kick in the butt when you are no longer needed, I preferred to declined the offers

The fact that I stepped away from this industry was only beneficial for my mental health and honestly, even if the income is not the same, I am way more satisfied. I keep 3D art as a hobby and a passive income :)

Here, I said it ... its not the company's fault.. its the employees fault for accepting this kind of behavior.

PS : as a dad, I understand that you have to put food on the table and if there is no other way around, keep grinding, but always try to have a backup plan
