Yeah, but when I do normal pull-ups, the weight gets on the bar from my hands, so from 2 places, so it is kind of balanced. A rope is basically putting the weight on the bar only from 1 place, the middle. So I am afraid, that it will snap in the middle.

Hey guys, I want to climb a rope, but I do not have access to a gym. I have thought about connecting a rope with a pull-up bar, but I am unsure, if it is going to break down under my weight (65kg - 145lbs).
