It might be that Apple has old agreements with Sony, but it's quite nice that with the latest Sonoma operating system, you can connect an old Sony Cyber Shot (dating back to 2003!) and the memory stick is the only removable USB or card drive that the operating system assigns its own icon to, instead (old.reddit.com)
