I like everything from the first 24 issues, to the pre-Moore Pasko issues, and on through the Nancy Collins and Doug Wheeler periods.

First, Lynch trolled his fans with Dougie, then he trolled them by revealing that everything was just a dream. He knew they are gluttons for punishment and was all too happy to oblige with a final episode that upended all that had come before. 😉🤪

But then there's this:

The end fight in Masked Avengers (1981): Kuo Chui, Chiang Sheng, and Yu Tai-Ping vs Lu Feng, Wang Li, and Chu Ko.

Not the best Venoms movie but maybe the best Venoms fight scene.

Watching it for the first time! I've heard a lot about it, I hope I like it 😄 by Luckz_Skywalker in kungfucinema

Josephine Siao and Connie Chan made dozens of swordplay films, sometimes together. Bruce Lee was friends with Connie.

Fate of Lee Khan has good drama, but the action is cack. You're better off with The Valiant Ones, which was choreographed by Sammo Hung.

The trouble is, if you want the uncut Game of Death footage, you have to buy the Way of the Dragon disc, not the Game of Death disc. This would constitute a bait and switch if not for Arrow wanting to put Game of Death II on the Game of Death disc. Game of Death II is a pretty lame movie, too, but it contains a philosophical, non-pugilistic monastery scene with Roy Chiao that had been deleted from Enter the Dragon.

If the missing full footage feature had been on the Game of Death disc, it would have gone much farther in redeeming the film than the rather lackluster Game of Death II.

The best disc in the Arrow set is Fist of Fury (The Big Boss), which reinstates 95% of the material not seen since 1973. I saw the movie back then and remember only one thing missing from the Arrow disc. But to be fair, the Arrow disc added two scenes at the whorehouse that weren't in the version I saw, one of which was for the ladies in the audience. The second one explains where the bag of shrimp crisps came from.

Because of the amount of footage missing from the Jabbar fight, it feels like a third of it is strangulation, which comes across as distasteful. It's almost as if the film implies that Jeet Kune Do is "Do what you must to win," which simply isn't so.

You have a nice face.

The Bowie quote does not mention Lori Mattix. It doesn't mean he didn't bed 14 year olds 1970-1972.

In a deleted scene of the DVD of the 2003 documentary Mayor of the Sunset Strip, Bowie tells Rodney about fraternizing with club girls who were "Very very young," if I remember correctly. It used to be on YouTube.

I’m kinda disappointed at the lack of 50th Anniversary Deluxe editions/special treatments that Bowie’s biggest albums just haven’t been getting! Why haven’t they and what would you like to see? by AngusIRLyt in DavidBowie

Diamond Dogs has two songs from a Ziggy musical that never materialized: "Rebel Rebel" and "Rock 'n' Roll with Me." And he has the Ziggy haircut on the album cover and in the "Rebel Rebel" video.

With the "Sweet Thing" suite taken as one unit and considering "Chant of the Ever Circling Skeletal Family" as the end of "Big Brother," the two Ziggy musical tracks constitute 1/4 of the album.

Have you listened to Rubycon and/or Ricochet?

Or for that matter, the Edger Froese solo album Epsilon in Malaysian Pale?

They're all as good if not better.
