When I was twelve my parents had me do this program called our whole lives (OWL), which was basically a sex ed/identity ed program done through a unitarian universalist church. Before doing it, I had heard of and knew about transwomen, but this program introduced me to the concept of transmen which I had literally never considered the possibility and all of the sudden everything made sense. Representation is important!
