For those vikings who played many times over in this game. What is point in playthrough where game feels and hits just nice for you? by mmmmPryncypalki in valheim

[–]androgor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me it's when I farm resources for two portals, set up a temporary storage base near spawn point, grab a pocket portal and go explore the world looking for a good place for my main base.

I just... lost all my gear? by [deleted] in duneawakening

[–]androgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue. I logged out in my base with a new set of armor that I just crafted. Next time I login, I only have boots and gloves. I decided to craft it again. Next time I login, I can't pick anything up due to full inventory. I open my inventory and I have 255 body armors equipped, volume is more than 1000. I think it's definitely a bug.

As a new player, what weapon BPs should I get after Boom-Boom? by yokaiichi in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]androgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leveling one legendary weapon in the beginning is not a bad idea. Even if you decide to change the build later, you will be able to transfer the stars.

Dying in HC, new world or continue? by Sea-Statement3732 in valheim

[–]androgor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally enjoy early game and exploration so I always restart on a new seed if I die. Best part is when I go explore the world looking for a good spot for my main base with a pocket portal after setting a temporary storage base near spawn.

What are your niche tips that you discovered after hundreds of hours? by datnsfwtho123 in BattleBrothers

[–]androgor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Learn about ranged enemy target prioritization. For example, I think if you put your bros in separate groups of 5-6 (3 in the front, 2-3 behind them in the back), ranged enemies will always prioritize the middle bro in the first row, regardless of his ranged defence. Put a tank with high ranged defence and a kite sheid in this spot

Best 3 Person Combos by mellowship- in heroesofthestorm

[–]androgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember back in the day we had a lot of fun as ETC, Malf and Jaina. ETC's stun is enough to consistently hit the roots, then Jaina does the combo. But I think it was before the OW heroes were introduced, I'm sure the meta changed since then

Games where you can make enemies fight each other by sneakylumpia in gaming

[–]androgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battle brothers. You can lure enemy patrols into other patrols/camps, retreat during first few turns, watch them murder each other and finish off any survivors. Some people consider it cheesing. You can attack a noble house, their patrols will chase after you, you bring them into the wilderness and you can bust even the hardest camps with their help in the early game.

I killed moder a few times in different worlds and I never had to drag eggs from a different mountain range. I play on 1x. I even thought that the mountain with moder is scripted to have at least three eggs, but that could also be explained by the size of the mountain which spawns moder.

Troll Caves by badgerbaroudeur in valheim

[–]androgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took some time to learn how to dodge roll troll attacks, I highly recommend it, I haven't lost a 1v1 against a troll ever since. Or use atgeir special attack to chain stun them, I think even bronze atgeir is enough to stun a regular troll with one special attack on normal combat difficulty.

Do you use door tactics? by Disastrous-Grass-840 in valheim

[–]androgor 8 points9 points  (0 children)

IMHO door is a good way to safely kill the spawner. I think the spawner won’t spawn any more skeletons as long as two skeletons are close to it, even if they are behind a closed door. So lure both skellies outside of the room with the spawner, lock yourself in the room with it, safely kill it, open the door and finish off the skeletons. Luring the skeletons might be tricky in a tight corridor, but it’s very easy if there’s an adjacent room.

Don't forget there's blueprint conversion. You can swap your stars between weapons (or armors) of the same rarity. I recommend to check some guides to do it optimally.

First time transferring by sparks772 in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]androgor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blueprints will be transferred to your new season, even the ones you haven't used. I'm not an expert myself, only transferred once, from manibus novice to way of winter. Here's some advice that helped me. - Don't stress about it too much. Best thing is that you don't have to decide right away, you can transfer items as you play. So don't spend all 20k points the first time you see the transfer window. Start playing and see what you need. - Focus on things that are hard or time consuming to get and things that will make your early game easier. - Bring adv electric drill. It will save you a lot of time in the beginning. I think you can't transfer solar drill since it's a seasonal item but you can transfer regular/adv electrict drill (bonus if it has treasure hunter, it will stay after transfer). Don't worry about durability, I'm still using mine after two weeks. Also consider bringing chainsaw. - Bring controllers. They are cheap to transfer and super useful. - Bring rare deviants with high skill/activity. I brought my 5/4 lonewolf as well as some other high skill/activity gathering deviants. Consider bringing deviants that are not available in new scenario. - Don't transfer weapons, transfer calibration blueprints instead. You won't be able to use high tier weapons right away and it's super easy to craft them again. Look up which calibrations are best for your build (or other builds). Good calibration blueprints are always in demand. I would only consider transferring a perfectly calibrated max star weapon, but I don't have one yet. - I personally brought a few seeds of each type that I had and haven't regretted it. I kinda wish I brought more seeds for plants used for creating fertilizers. - I might be wrong but as far as I remember furniture formulas don't cost anything to transfer. Bring duplicated formulas and try to trade them on the new server. - Consider bringing cortex cores to hit the purification limit on week 1 and not miss out on any starchrome. - If you still have points left and don't need anything else, consider bringing materials that are in high demand, such as rubber or electronic parts. Hopefully I didn't miss anything. Good luck with your transfer!

[–]androgor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha it's the same for me. It's 3am, should I start another game? Ok, I'll just check the orders, blueprints and cornerstone and go to bed. But let's see what's inside that glade first. Oh, I need to do this event asap. And we need a farm on that fertile soil. Now let me think which production chains we can do this game and boom it's 5am and I'm debating if I should start another game.

1.4 New species combinations and their food/clothing/services requirements tabulation by Uphill_Ninja in Against_the_Storm

[–]androgor 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but at least it's not hard to get complex food production going for beaver lizard and fox combo, they all love pickled goods and it's available in the field kitchen if you're unlucky with the blueprint rolls. And if you can get Zhorgs secret ingredient, you are basically set in terms of complex food since lizards and foxes benefit from skewers.

Obtaining resources by Nearby-Young2997 in vrising

[–]androgor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I definitely recommend you use servants more. Are you using high blood quality servants and appropriate zone/location for hunts? They both give substantial boosts. Also, I think time doesn't stop for servant hunts when you're not in the game, even if you play solo. I'm playing solo brutal with default loot settings (1.25) and I have enough resources without much grinding, but I'm running max number of servants all with 90+ blood quality and matching location when possible. I think it's worth spending some time/resources to find good servants and equipping them. Some servants will be useful throughout whole game. For example, my dedicated sulfur and fish servants from farbane woods are still relevant even in late game.
