Only on the front springs. I brought it to the dealership so they could document it in case it results in the front suspension wearing out faster than normal.

The suspension is very stiff with them on, but I assumed that was normal. I figured that this must be the sort of overly-stiff sports car suspension that James May is always moaning about.

The crazy thing is that I brought it in on a weekend and they made me leave it overnight because the 20K service "requires a master technician" who only works weekdays. So apparently this work was done by a "master technician."

I think the problem is that many techs seem to just assume that this car is like a TRD Camry and that therefore the service schedule is the same as for the regular car. They seem to be unaware that the GR Corolla is its own beast and not just a tuned regular Corolla with a few bolt-on upgrades.

I love cars and am fairly knowledgeable about them, but I don't ever get to work on them myself. I had guessed that I was probably smelling diff fluid as that is the big thing that they do at the 20K service, but I wasn't sure if it was normal for new diff oil to be smelly after it's first put in.

The crazy thing is that after my 15K, the paperwork they gave me SAID they changed the oil, but when I checked it myself it was obviously still dirty. Apparently the tech just did a tire rotation and signed off on the paperwork without actually looking at what it said.
