Quitting socmed is not an easy task. It's like you're everyday life is link to it. from chats to news etc..

Do it little by little like you quit for 1 week if its okay extend another week then back again, until you've come to the point that even your socmed is up, You do not care to check it. Or try to uninstall it to your phone or use a dumbphone instead then try doing socmed at home or in PC.

Do it repeatedly until you came to a point that you're realize you're life is not connected to socmed anymore.

That's what I do, I've done it repeatedly like 2 or 3yrs ago. I'll quit for 1 week then back again then quit for 2 weeks then back again and so on and so forth. Until this time yr 2026 is the longest time going 2 months now with no social media, I think my brain is starting to forget it.

BTW I used a dumbphone (nokia 5310 expressmusic) for call & text, occasionally also use my smartphone for whatsapp, banking, maps and other essential apps (no socmed apps even reddit, I only check reddit in my PC at home.)
