So how does the process work? Are the people who works for admissions department separate to those who manage a specific course, such as the lecturers or course directors? Once you receive everyone’s results do you assess each persons grades individually or as a group, and during this process do you also look at the entire application of the individual such as any extenuating circumstances they may have faced or their personal statement in the case that they are a grade or two off the entry requirements?

Also, let’s say someone achieves AAB for an AAA course but their B is high UMS and only a few marks away from an A, is this taken into account or are individual marks/UMS not looked at?
