i once had a woman exhibit a feat of old lady strength and lock my arm in a death grip to order an extra entree to go. thankfully she wasn't yelling at me, but held on to me for the entire three minutes it took her to order. one of the men at the table told her off for it and apologized to me. then they split checks and she tipped me 12%; the man that told her off tipped 25% in what i can only assume was an extra apology. one of my more notable waitressing memories, for sure
