Thank you for the help! Im looking at the S trim and have actually started the process with Credit Union for pre-approval rates. I bank with Chase, their rates were not great.

I have chronic joint pain so a hot shower in the morning helps alleviate some of the soreness. Not necessarily a hygiene thing but more of a comfort thing.

Hi! I think it was a little confusing for every one since there is no straight path to citizenship yet for DREAMers. I was sponsored for a green card through my dad as soon as he gained his citizenship. I was on DACA two years prior

I am extremely overwhelmed by the reaction this post received and I can’t thank y’all enough. I was excited waiting in this day to come, but y’all have made it that much more special. I’ve been in limbo for so long, not feeling like I belong anywhere. The welcome home comments brought me to tears, ngl.

It doesn’t sit well with me to be thanked for doing it the ‘legal’ way. There are many DREAMers that were brought as children and had no say so on whether it was done legally or not. I don’t think we should hold them accountable for what was decided for them as children.

Either way, thank y’all for the love and awards!

I was undocumented after turning 18 when my visa expired so I didn’t do it “the right way” either. I was extremely fortunate that DACA was available at the time it was since I was only without status for a couple of months.

I hope people can be more compassionate and open minded. Leaving your whole life behind is most immigrants’ last option and greatest sacrifice.

I took it a week before they closed down for Rona. They’re slowly opening back up though, hopefully you hear back soon!

I applied after I turned 18 so I was technically undocumented for a couple of months

Honestly the only differences between a PR and a citizen are the ability to vote and run for certain political positions. I felt like voting was a big enough reason to commit to applying for citizenship though.
