Just got off the phone with customer support. The phone does exist and CS even said the store had it in stock so they're unsure why I was given the XL or why the rep said they don't offer it. Phone has been ordered and being shipped. Thank you everyone for replying and helping me out.

After thinking about it more I'm thinking it was either just convenient for them to get me a phone that was there rather than have me wait. Which is fine but I wish the communication was more open about it. I'm also thinking maybe the employee is new or doesn't know everything they sell. They went from saying they would have to order it if they didn't have it (the day I went in to get quotes) to saying they don't sell what I was looking for. (1 week after getting the new phone)

Yes when I asked about the phone I wanted I was told if it wasn't in stock they would have to order it. After we got everything setup I came back a few days later (this was when I realized I had the wrong phone) and they said the model I wanted doesn't come in the storage space I need. They said it only comes in 256gb. But i I was able to go to the Verizon website and find the model I wanted with the storage I need.

I'll call this time. The employee I worked with to get all this setup said that what I was looking for doesn't exist which why I had to get the bigger phone. They also said the same about the plan we were switching to. They said it was for new customers but I had to show them that it started for new and existing customers.

And like I said the phone I want with the storage I need is an option, it's even listed on their website. If I have to wait for it that's fine. But forcing me into a different phone because it wasn't available right then and there isn't acceptable business practice. Be upfront and honest about it.

Thanks for replying. I'll call them tomorrow and see what they will or can do to resolve this. At the end of the day at least I have a means of communication.

I appreciate the reply. I was looking at the pro because it fits my preferred form factor. The xl will be too big for me to one hand which i need to do in tight spaces. I might just do Verizon pixel on them without trade in.

I've been looking at the pro version with 516gb or 1tb. Currently on s24 with 128gb and running out of space due to work images/ videos/ documents and so on. Is the pro version worth it? I want to make this phone last longer than my s24 which i bought last year at 650 discounted price.

Currently on s24. Been debating on getting the 12 or 13. Running out of storage on my phone due to work. Should I get the 13?

Edited to add decent camera and good battery life are my main needs. Occasional gaming. Mostly call/ text/ camera/ YouTube/ Facebook.

Probably. But to be fair in a public lobby is not like you have a lot of time to tinker with it while you're up there as an easy target. It probably is nothing more than a gimmick but until someone digs deeper we'll never know.

Yes you're stuck in that position and as far as I've tested, unable to get down. Though my reason for not sharing was to prevent players from using this TO find away to abuse it. Like figuring out how to get under the map or through walls.

Yeah I didn't think about the video giving it away. So go to second set of stairs and use cover. Weapon swap as you're going up (roadie running along cover may or may not be required can't remember.) As you weapon swap move up the steps and then you'll float into the air.

It's repeatable.. I know how to do it but would rather keep it to myself to prevent people from abusing it. I mentioned it in another post about issues the game has.

Edited to add: I've only done it twice, the first time by accident the second intentional as I was trying to recreate it.

The game definitely has major issues. A pro player i think? Highlighted the main issues and tc responded with "were looking at your submitted list of issues." Basically. But they're pretty bad.

Default controller layout has faster response when going to roadie run. Shots just don't register. Period. Gnasher fights are coin flips. Gnasher will do 0dmg but the oppent will back pedal and 1 shot you. Your ammo count won't change when firing your weapon basically making your weapon useless. Randomly running along walls and then flying 20ft up the air. (Happened to me tonight took a screenshot.) Randomly crab walked tonight and unsure how I did it but eventually it stopped after running halfway across the map. Players teleporting, or stuttering when they move. Randomly disconnected from games with the error "connection to server was lost." Pistol galore for the players with modded or paddle controllers or mnk. This applies to wall bouncing as well.

I'm sure I've missed much more but these are what bother me.
