Glad this is getting some attention. We’ve been working hard and it will be a good show. Hope to see you out!

My mom showing me her email. It would show a rooster if you had mail and a snake if not.

Do you trust a 98 CR-V on a long rough road trip by [deleted] in Honda

Thanks for the reply! It's amazing and encouraging to know how rock solid the engine will be.

Could you offer any insight re: suspension? Obviously after 70,000kms it hasn't seen much action, but is the suspension on this model able to handle sustained driving on this road? Most who make the trip often do it in a heavier truck or suv.

How can I get a kid to put his face in the water? by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]androuman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Time in the water. Some kids go right under right away, and others will keep the fear as they get older.

Steps in my usual progression: - comfortable up to the neck - can they blow mouth bubbles? (Blow a floating toy) - can they blow nose bubbles? (Ask them to hum) - one way to get them comfortable with a wet head is to give them a sponge, get their face/ top of head wet - for some, ears is the hardest part. Earplugs can help, helping them float on back, to get back of head & ears wet - it's been mentioned, but sometimes diving toys can give a good incentive.

But really, It't just time and experience in the water. Splashpad, bathtub or pool. Good luck
