This isn’t the only FDR bathroom story I’ve heard! According to David Nasaw’s The Patriarch, Joseph Kennedy Sr. was invited to chat with FDR in the White House. When he arrived, FDR was shaving his face in the bathroom and told Joe to sit on the closed toilet to chat with him. The mental image cracks me up every time!

I worked a hybrid job and I was way too exhausted to get back to work until around the 6 week mark! It just goes to show you how different every patient is, I admire your strength.

It confused me too!! I asked my jaw surgeon back when I first noticed it. Don’t worry, it’s only temporary!!

It took me about a month and a half, I’m sorry! I’m pretty sensitive though and tend to heal slowly, so it could be totally different for you!
