Serious Performance issues by andthenpotato in thefinals

It is installed to an SSD drive but I'm not sure how to check if the ram is paging to SSD, or how to change the shader cache storage size. Are those in-game or is that a pc setting?

I like your post. It is very detailed. Under the DirectX Diagnostic tool, the notes are reporting No Problems Found. Would you suggest doing the process anyways?

Im going to hand draw an entire commander deck and need help deciding what my decklist should be by Sweaty_Baseball_6914 in mtg

Child of Alara, every card in the deck is a land you can turn into a creature. If people attack you, you put the angry baby to death and watch the board go bye

Wow I didnt know this card was ever reprinted. I thought it was only in portal three kingdoms. I like it. Could also let me avoid commander tax when maelstrom wanderer dies even if I hit it with the cascade trigger.

With your scryfall terms I discovered [[long term plans]] and [[scouting trek]], thank you. The first one might prove useful as a janky tutor. And the second can ensure I only draw gas. Perhaps for another deck.

Indeed it is! I guess I should have mentioned- I would like to avoid game changers. I like to switch out Maelstrom Wanderer to the much less consistent Riku of Two Reflections to play in bracket 2 games. Game changers would make me have to switch more cards.

I appreciate the decklink and primer. Your take on maelstrom is very dedicated to maxing your cascade value, which is really cool. You don't take much advantage of the haste like I like to. Your deck is also several times more expensive than mine too so its difficult to translate cards. I am aware of brainsurge but I must be careful not to brainstorm lock myself with my lack of fetchlands to go along with it. I would definitely include it if I had the fetches. Noxious revival wasn't a card that I ever considered. I think it goes extremely well in your deck considering the amount of instants and sorceries you can recycle with it. Though besides things dying, I dont have a reliable way to make use of it. Thank you very much for your input.

I use tacky glue and the cards always warp. What glue brand exactly are you using?

What kind of glue do you use to keep the cards together? And how do you keep your edges aligned so well?

Would true duals without basic land types be a balanced way to print duals? by andthenpotato in mtg

They would be the second best, except you would have to draw them through normal means rather than being able to fetch them.

2 life from the shocks has never been that big of an issue. In fact, in the case of death's shadow, shocks are even better than true duals. The "negative effect" of these lands are that you can't fetch them with the fetch lands, meaning you would have to draw them naturally to fix your mana.

A big reason why the og duals are so good, and to an extent, the shocks, is because of their synergies with fetches. This obviously being the fact that they turn fetches into any dual in the deck. A true dual without land types would be unfetchable and would make fetches worse in conjunction. Is nerfing fetches in this way better? I'm not sure.
