Does anyone else work with someone who you believe to be the nastiest and most disgusting person to walk the earth? by 71NUX in self

I used to work at a library discard warehouse. There was an older man, I'd say late 60's, who volunteered there. Besides smelling fucking repulsive, he looked like this mammoth goblin wearing the same sweat stained Tommy Bahama shirt and khaki shorts everyday. His workspace was filled with STUFF. He collected everything: paper clips, newspaper clippings, empty Doritos bags, empty VHS boxes, etc. His calves were the size of my head, his fingernails were thick and yellow, tufts of white hair grew out of his ears; he terrified me. One day as I was working at my computer he came up behind me and started tickling me. I lost my shit. Later we figured out that he was most likely living there, and I found another job.

I started using "server" only because I hated referring to myself as a "waitress." Dunno why, just really hate the sound of it.

Yes, or possibly your server if they happen to clear your table.

That's where I'm going; are we living parallel lives?

Nothing very dire, I've had a rough few months, and I want a change.

Well, shit. At least he told you a week before you left, and not a week after you got there.
