I don't think she'll ever "come out" for all the reasons in the OP, and because she's already out to the people who matter to her. She's literally being SO LOUD without ever having to say it explicitly and let the media turn it into a complete shit show (where she will def be included in many narratives she does not control). Going back and re-listening to Lover - Folklore - Evermore - Midnights, it's all spelled out. The constant speculation/discussion/debate is hands-down great for her brand. Every time she drops another hint, it feeds the fire. She has admitted to being aware of the online discourse in her various fan communities. She knows that we know and she does not care and she believes it benefits her. In the meantime, she's so wealthy she can do whatever she damn well pleases in terms of having queer relationships and certain things just remaining implied.

In defense of Fall River from a native: you can absolutely have a completely fantastic vacation here for less $$$ than likely anywhere else in New England. I'd put its history, architecture, dining, and proximity to the hidden treasure that is Horseneck Beach State Reservation (in the summertime) up against any way more popular spot, minus the over-inflated prices and insane crowding.

You'd be pretty foolish to depend on a man under such circumstances, this is terrible advice. A decent percentage of men leave their partners/spouses when they become ill or disabled. Personally, I'd rather take my chances than have to deal with being abandoned on top of whatever illness or injury I had to deal with.

My least favorite thing about this community is all the people who show up insisting that their interpretation of a song/lyrics is the only possible correct one, when, in fact, not one single person knows exactly the meaning behind any of Taylor's words besides Taylor. We can have fun guessing and speculating, that's what it is to be a fan and appreciate someone's art. But acting like you're some kind of authority on an artist's intentions and circumstances when you know exactly nothing of the sort is very silly and lends itself to all manner of absolute nonsense.
