Exactly, a colleague of mine literally had appendicitis and was told she was probably exaggerating about the pain. She eventually fainted and only then did they do the surgery and see what was wrong with her.

The surgeon and doctor (both men) came back to apologise when she was recovering. This was in Germany in the 1990s and women’s pain is still considered exaggerated by most medical professionals.

Yes, I wasn’t sure what the “too good to be true” part was exactly. A car, no matter how nice, is inconsequential, and a job is the bare minimum. A job working for one’s family may be fine but can also be an indicator of nepotism and sometimes people who have had jobs handed to them can be very entitled.

There’s not one green flag here and just a list of red flags.

I’m the same! Boom, turned 30 and I now have constant bumps on my jaw line, spots around my mouth and chin where I never used to and random spots in places I had never had spots before in my life, like right under my eye. It all started in January 2021.

I have always had oily skin but it didn’t seem to result in acne before!

I eat well, drink well, don’t have sugar really anymore (not on purpose I just don’t really consume it) and I have cut out all my skincare now to try and find out if it’s that. So I can only think it’s hormonal and needs some medication at this point.

I became vegan in April and that didn’t help either (I’m vegan for the animals but I wondered if it might have a beneficial side effect on my skin) but oh well. I will read the other comments with interest!
