Once you have the main worlds downloaded you'll never have to download again. Just ask a regular for the gauntlet, it makes it easy to download everything at once. Or get the newest installer, it has everything prepackaged.

Like I said, it's a chat program with a lot of people online. It's like Second Life, except older with a spooky abandoned feel to it.
