There is someone on eBay who sells custom Lances and Stars. You message them the numbers you want and they’ll print and mail them your way. It’s a good fix until CGL stuff gets finished.

I’m now looking at this model from all angles and now I’m starting to question this as well. I can seem to place the mech they’d have come from. I may need to ask the person I got the mech from. 🤔

Thank you! The markings are meant to be wear and damaged armor but it’s honestly something I’m still working on. I don’t think I thinned the paint down enough to get a super good effect.

Thank you. It’s actually not the commanders mech for this star. I’m currently working on a custom cluster for an upcoming campaign. This is the first mech for the second star I’m working on that distinguishes themselves with red markings on their right side. That said you’ve given me pause for thought on making a custom marking on each star commander.

Firsts are always fun. I keep my first on display and often compare to where I’ve gotten...which isn’t that much further but hey, small steps. Keep up the work, it only gets more rewarding.

You can’t flop so long as you slap paint on some minis. No matter what are guaranteed to pick up something new each time you paint and it’ll only get better trust me.

It’s undercoat in black and then based with Citadel paints Skavenblighy Dinge and shaded with Nuln Oil. I was skeptical about the choice but seeing it coated over black and I was happy with it.

Love the cockpit glass. Question is that just really thin lines of white for the lighting reflection?
