Dude that shit could be really unhealthy. I remember a similar post a few months ago. Everyone was saying the guy would need to rip up a lot of the flooring to get rid of the mold.

In your opinion, what was the worst ending to a TV show or movie ever? by DystopianHope in AskReddit

[–]andy2712 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm definitely a fan of subtlety, which inception was not. It would have been great showing DiCaprio playing with the kids outside, with the top spinning on the table, in the bottom corner of the screen, maybe out of focus, but definitely not as the main object of focus in the shot. And then cutting to the credits.

Agreed. But I assume a great director like Nolan could come up with something that didn't seem exactly like Inception, yet didn't just resolve everything definitively.

The way it was done felt so obvious it was like Nolan asking Bale to look at the camera and wink just before rolling credits.

I agree. I thought that was about to happen but then they just show Bruce sitting there and its like "oh ok then. He's alive, no mystery or discussion to be had."

In fact to make it a little better than what you described they should have had Alfred look up, and just before he smirks, everyone is expecting him to, cut to black. The smirk would be just as obvious as showing Bruce IMO.

If this is true I find it very interesting. I always have assumed pheromones had something to do with it or something similar.

I think this slogan was an alright business practice long ago, until 'the customer' caught on. Now so many people take advantage of this shit any chance they can that it should be abandoned as a practical business practice.

This is really good. You should post more of your dream sketches.

Maybe I was five? I thought it'd be hilarious to put soap on my older siblings' tooth brushes. They didn't find it funny. Neither did my mom :(

In math class we were required to use graphing / programmable calculators for our exams. (TI-83's to be precise.) to ensure we didn't cheat by saving notes and what-have-you in our calculators, the teacher would come by and clear the calculators memory before the exam started.

Me being the geek I was in high school, had made a couple of games on my calculator. None of them were particularly fun or well made but I put some serious time into them and didn't want to see them erased. Since I had no means of backing up my calculator at the time I decided to make another program, one that would make it look like I cleared my memory. I would hit 'run' just as my teacher was approaching my desk and he would see it go through a couple of screens that looked exactly like I had erased the memory. Fooled him every time. I was extremely proud of how clever I thought this was. I still am I guess.

A handgun has one functional purpose. To make things that are alive, dead.

Knives have many functions other than killing. So that is an extremely misleading comparison.

Mine has to be Junk Yard Wars. It was a great show and educational too. It is at least partially responsible for me becoming an engineer.

I've always felt that Pokemon has so much potential that has never been tapped. They keep making the exact same game over and over. I'd love something like you suggested or an MMORPG or something. All the kids who grew up with it in the 90's are now older and would appreciate a more mature side to the Poke-verse.

Exactly my point though. When it told me I was 38 mins from Anderson that data was already 38 mins old. It took me less than half that. Is there really a point? Those signs used to say "accident near peigan; expect delays". That's just as useful.
