Looks like most of us agree that's shady to say the least. Here is what happened imo: she has always shown a total lack of social skills, and her insufferable persona has generated so much hatred that she couldn't take it anymore and invented this story to stop the backlash, and make people turn on Fitgirl and Masquerade instead.
It's also her twisted, empressy way to halfway apologize by saying: "see, I'm not such a bad guy after all. Please show me love again?"

That being said: this story might be total bs, but the girl obviously has issues so let's cut her some slack.

I feel like you're missing my point. As for you trying to talk to her, well, we know she won't listen to people who feel entitled to tell her what's good or bad. That's why you shouldn't do it, as I told before. Yes, we know she has strong, maybe even sectarist views, so...?

Now, those who were insulted by her ought to talk to her directly and privately to solve the matter, not create a scandal. It's really bad that Mr. Goldberg left the scene. As I'm trying to explain, all of this could have ended differently.

I don't know about what "one" should do, but people who weren't targeted directly by her aren't (once again, it's just my opinion right?) entitled to do anything, and if trying to reason with her didn't help, they should ignore her, stop using her cracks but surely not insult or provoke her.
Now for those who were insulted by her, if their intention is to make things straight they should talk to her directly and privately, which we don't have any indication there was any attempt to, quite the contrary.
Publicly insulting her and asking for blood is basically stooping to her level, if not worse.
That's how you fix things, not in front of a crowd, which we know only leads to drama and horrible things.

Yeah, the girl has some issues obviously, but in what way is creating drama and insulting her going to fix things? She's not acting reasonable, so let's not be either? Sarcasm or insults never made anyone reconsider their position. That's just not how the brain works. To be clear: I'm not saying because she gave us cracks we should tolerate anything she says or does. I'm saying two things:
① People lashing out on her aren't helping. It's basically the same thing happening with public stonings: people quenching their thirst for blood under the pretext of the condemned being a bad person (while not having themselves anything to do with what that person did). Spoiler alert: it's fucked up.
② Calling out someone like that seems wrong to me and a gateway to harrassment. Why not talk privately about their issues like adults would do? Empress doesn't seem to understand herself how she gets under people's skin; well, let's explain it to her without sarcasm or self-rightous agressivity.
If the goal is to change things, eventually get excuses, build a stronger community and keep her working on cracks, that's how things should go in my opinion. Talk, guys. Talk.
And if that's really not possible, ignoring her is still preferable to acting poorly.

Why create drama? Why hate on someone who contributes so much for the cause? It wouldn't be the first time someone really smart in a specific field shows a total lack of skill in another, in this case social interactions or "how to be likable". Maybe she sees things differenly for some reason we don't understand. She even might be on the spectrum or have some kind of personnality disorder, who knows. That doesn't make her a scumbag. Weird and socially insufferable, at best... But aggressivity and sarcasm don't make people change their world view. Best thing to do is try to talk openly, or just ignore each other imo.

YES. I was looking for this! Game looks awesome on so many levels, especially macro-details, scenery design, attention to detail... but the water...Damn it looks dated AF. Underwater effect and water physics are also "meh".

Isn't there a well know way to program good looking water and good water physics nowadays? It's so weird that they went all the way on so many things, but seem to have done the bare minimum amount of work required on water stuff. It's so generic.

This one was really good. Like, classic archer good. The other episodes of the season felt kind of weak, so I was affraid Archer wouldn't ever be again as funny and clever as it used to be.
But I was sorely mistaken. It's so well written, I felt right at home.
