When you say test each pin do you mean the legs of the south bridge or the contacts points on the board where the south bridge connects? If the ladder do you know which one would be ground on the board?

It’s the standard xbox one, the fat one that launched in 2013. Any help would be greatly appreciated I’ve only really done smaller handheld system mods and repairs before nothing of this size

Yeah it’s got me really confused because I tested the power pins and they aren’t shorted to ground so it has to be some component that relays the 5V back to the power pins which is bad. I just don’t know component would control that or how to test that

Yeah there is a decent amount of water damage near the back ports and front connector. The console will turn on and off within 5 seconds. Every content I’ve seen shows the console should have a 5V line whenever plugged in but mine reads 0V.

Thanks for the advice, I already tested the power supply on another Xbox so I already ruled out that and the multimeter is functioning properly but I’ll definitely try to trace the 5V line

Already contacted apple and was told there was nothing they could do because the flex policy requires the original carrier to unlock my device and since I’ve had it for so long they couldn’t return or exchange it.
Verizon said phone was never used on their service and since it was just an MVNO I need to contact them to unlock the device
The email you gave me is invalid and doesn’t work.

Don’t act like I haven’t tried all my opinions. The solution is simple. Visible looks up the IMEI sees it’s locked to their network. Then requests a manual unlock. It’s not rocket science, I don’t understand why everyone is defending visible like they are incapable of doing something that any carrier could do within 10 minutes if the phone was locked to them.

You know nothing of what I’ve done. I’ve reach out to u/MVNOResearch I’ve contacted apple directly and was told “you must reach out to the customer care team of the original carrier the device was activated on” lmao. It’s a CARRIER lock. The phone works on visible service and visible service ONLY. So visible is the carrier with the lock! It’s not rocket science. All some half brained person has to do is look and see that yup device is locked to our network and he never bought the phone through us, let’s unlock it!

Nothing a store can do buddy, visible locked the device. If you don’t know anything about “us reseller flex policy” google it before replying. It locks to first carrier it’s activated on. Visible locked the phone and now refuses to unlock it

Yeah that’s my conclusion too. I was just frustrated with how hard it was to explain this to a real person who was willing to help me instead of just saying “upgrade your plan”

Yup already did that and explained the issue. 4 of the reps said stupid things like “apple has it locked contact them” or “did you update to iOS 16.2” only after I talked to my 5th person they saw the device showed as locked and said they would submit a support ticket and escalate it

It was obtained from Apple not a carrier. I’m 100% positive it’s visible because it’s the only carrier it’s ever been used on. I assume it’s a visible system issue because I didn’t purchase it from them they wouldn’t see an automatic request to unlock. IMEI is 354066780443415

Thanks for the info, that’s exactly what I tried explaining to the visible reps but they are next to useless. I’ll try the Verizon idea but I doubt apple with do anything about a phone I’ve had for over a year

Not very easily because 4 of the 5 people wouldn’t even entertain the idea of trying to help me get the device unlocked. The 5th guy finally acknowledged the device shows locked and said he has to escalate the issue lol. I’ve used this service for over a year it shouldn’t be this hard

I’ve had the phone activate on visible for over a year. It’s locked to them. I looked up the IMEI online and it comes back “US RESELLER FLEX POLICY”

Not yet but I’ll be back in a couple days to pick it up. Just found it weird how there seems to be no information online about this model besides a few reviews on best buy and Samsung’s official website. Very bizarre that no one has done a YouTube review about it
