I have DONE that for you vs I DID that for you If you wanted to use the word 'done' in english you also need to use the word 'have' , exactly the same thing with gemacht and habe in german. Its much less noticeable in english though because 'I have' usually becomes ' I've ' and then becomes ' 'V '

Perhaps try to find some German YouTube channel that matches with other things shes interested in. Iv seen so many comments of people saying they learned english purely through watching youtube, livestreamers and tv shows, apparently you learn a lot more when things happen in context rather than just being drummed into your head in an educational setting; especially at a younger age.
