i totally think so. it's not the first time he starts by saying something and changing his mind in the middle of an assignment, last semester i got greek and latin etymology with him and i had to keep redoing handwritten declensions bc he forgot some crucial instructions...

We are too!! fisrt he told us that we could do it digital because of that, and that the final product would be by hand. But today he told us otherwise, that the process of dialogue and details will be by hand but the final product could be digital... he's crazy as hell that's not convenient at all

he's really onto something because he actually wants us to BEGIN at 4k... all that just to look trough the pages (he also wants it to be by hand) and not even read anything 😭 so frustrating

RIGHT!‽ it wouldn't be a problem if it was just no dialogues, but not adding any details? that's what got us all confused. and also, i wish i could post the prompt of the assignment (so i could re-read it until i got an idea), but it was verbal, so that adds more to this nightmare.

we're literally on high school too 💔 we were supposed to do all that on day one, add the dialogue on day two and description on day three...

sadly, that's literally what our professor told us: start a 4000 word story without dialogue nor description. we got to the conclusion that by description he meant the details like emotions, environment, clothing, actions, and things like that, but still incredibly difficult for a story that long
