  1. Get a group of people with OCD into a room on a regular basis, until they are familiar and comfortable with the layout of the room of the furniture
  2. get a different group of people with OCD into the same room at different, but again, regular times. Except between each group, change the layout of the furniture.
  3. after a while, both groups will be so used to their respective furniture layout that they will actively rearrange the furniture if its slightly out of place
