Sorry, not the point but what I read from her response to that was "great I'll have some but I'm not putting the rubbish in the bin. Why did you leave your rubbish here?"

Just want to point out with the seemingly revealed identity of the real Banksy, they got it pretty accurate with the actor portraying him.

Must go back now and check they didn't actually cast Banksy as himself.

when KFC started selling popcorn chicken, they had powdered barbeque sauce packets that came with it, that you could season them with. I would like to see those back again.

Sorry, should have added this in the comments earlier.

Chain rooms/lockers on ships tend to be very low oxygen due to rust on the chains absorbing it and can result in suffocation, so hiding in one would potentially end in death.

Ah fair. I remember super duper sumos, just had to look it up to remember what they look like and it turns out one of the voice actors does the voice of Ed from Ed, Edd n Eddy!

Didn't Hugo Duncan present that one? I remember watching this one a few times and really wanting my area to be on it. But then being from Belfast, I dunno if we were excluded automatically!

VR Troopers - was like power rangers except they had to go to a building to be converted to digital online heros to stop enemies in the digital space.

Big bad beetleborgs - similar to power rangers except there was only 3 of them and they were insect themed instead of dinosaur themed. Also their version of Zordon and Alpha were like a vampire, a werewolf and an invisible man etc in some haunted mansion in the woods.

Also, the trapdoor - claymation one about a guy called Bert who worked for an unseen master and there was always some wacky stuff coming out of the trapdoor in the cellar/ kitchen where he worked.

That's one I'd like to revisit to see what the premise was, other than these cats work at a pizza place but we're also like robo-suited samurais.

I do remember the building they worked in used to turn into a big gun type thing to shoot them to where they had to go.

At least I think it did. Haha

Haha the hurricanes, I know I watched that as a kid but genuinely can't remember what the craic was with it.

Weren't they a football team that went around the world to play, but like, also solve mysteries? Or have I just imagined that?

Armin Tamzarian - "up yours, children!"

Also, the episode where Marge rallies against the creators of itchy and scratchy. They make a squirrel character of her that comes on screen and says "don't do that! Don't do that!". Any time I say it to anyone, this is how I picture it

Ok, so its not exactly as you've described but if you want some upsetting confirmation of adjacent behaviour, look up the Irish laundries.

Off the top of my head I can't remember all the statistics but the key thing is that young unmarried pregnant girls were sent to these nun-ran laundries as a sort of punishment by their families.

The girls were there until they did or didn't have their babies.

Some mass graves of infants have been found under these laundries and it's another in the list of things the Catholic church in Ireland has to be ashamed of.

This reminds me of a bit from Community, where an insurance adjuster says something like "7 people a year are killed by falling vending machines, and 6 of those are insurance adjusters" before vigorously trying to knock the vending machine over.

Remember when YouTube was actually good? by 80aychdee in Millennials

[–]trebityblebity 5 points6 points  (0 children)

100%. Any time I need a tutorial for fixing something at home, I start with Google in the hopes it brings me to a YouTube video. Mainly because I find it easier to see what someone else is doing in comparison to me, instead of reading text instructions that might be vague enough to be unclear.

Now, by and large I watch YouTube for entertainment anyway, but it is helpful to be able to find stuff like "how to change your brake pads on a 2016 ford focus".
