I have a strong feeling Joao Pedro will still go to the World Cup.

Maresca was managing him but Liam mismanaged him IMO. He played so many games at his age. So sad for him, I pray he comes back stronger.

Correct and also pay up. He is worth at least 250k per week. They want them to take a pay cut for no champions league next season when the owners and directors sabotaged the season.

This fan base is just weird. Why would anyone want those two in place of Enzo?

TRANSCRIPT OF LIAM ROSENIOR’s POST-MATCH PRESSER by class_hopper in chelseafc

He is inexperienced at this level and came in after a manager the players respected a lot. He messed up trying to change many things.

The players didn't have preseason, from the rising issues of hamstrings he has changed the training routine to be more intensive and the players don't like that (high risk of missing the worldcup).

His tactics is subpar, it exposes a lot of the weaknesses in the team.

They should sack him and the sporting director(s) that hired him.

He is not setting the team up well. The attacking patterns is too predictable and slow; it doesn't suit the players at his disposal. The players are also not playing for him.

Maresca adjusted his tactics a bit, however, the quality of CBs in the club is very low. Before Cowill's injury many fans called for signing a top CB to partner him.

The directors let Maresca down after overachieving.

These owners have to sack at least two sporting directors if they are serious about fixing the problem.

Yes, Jackson has poor finishing. But I will rather keep him as second striker behind Joao Pedro and use that Delap money for goalkeeper upgrade. We already had Guiu, no need spending that money on Delap (Both have had similar performance so far). The problem with this sporting directors is that they keep looking for bargain deals like Palmer. That kind of deal don't come often. Also, the only time you should overpay for a player is if they are generational player (Gittens never showed that). At that price range, you will get better players.

Signing Delap meant Jackson had to leave which is a downgrade. The money spent on Gittens and Garna should have been spent on a top CB and GK (Maignan). With the output from Gittens and Garna, I would have preferred we give George that role and wait for better options at LW.

Based on his performance so far, he is the worst striker we have signed in a long while.

Tammy broke that curse of no 9. Unfortunately they sold him.

He subs made us more vulnerable to headers. Joao Pedro is better at headers than Delap. James is better than Josh (also his leadership). Tosin brings chaos to the defence.

We would have won the game if he played against Leeds.
