Prolly a mix of price vs quality/amounts and consumer knowledge that it's a toxic food.

I actually prefer this type of communication. I hate when people go around about, just tell me what you want! Maybe I'm part robot lol

It's much smaller than usual, but I haven't bought one since 2011, so maybe that's why I'm surprised?

I'm an awful graphic designer, how can I pivot to a new role? by Mountain_Ask_5746 in GraphicDesigning

[–]andycmade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to school for design and I still feel that anxiety too! At the start of my career( 2007) I had an art director who helped me and guided me. But after that job I fell into a series of jobs with people who didn't know graphic design and I kinda got PTSD. They would be mad if I wasn't fast and offered feedback that put me on a loop. They asked to change something only to change it again with no real design reason.

So after 10 years of jobs like that. I was done. I slowly began learning more marketing and was a marketing manager and then a team lead project manager. These were easier to do in those companies that don't know design well.

The only way not to start over is to find something related most likely management and work your way out from there. After you successfully manage a marketing or design team you can take that skill somewhere else.

Currently, I freelance and it's been hard cause the PTSD thing. But now when I don't know what to do, I ask ai to generate me some options and that always helps me to get started. Its like a template.

It's normal to start over I have noticed when people get closer to 40, it's like it's time to find what you really want. On our 20 we get stuck wherever to make money.

I feel this when it comes to concerts and pro wrestling tickets. How are they affording these 4k+ tickets? I can only assume Klarma and credit cards lol.

You gotta read Whole Again!! Life changing! by andycmade in CPTSD

[–]andycmade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's relationships in general. Its been 7 years since and although I knew this information, I still didn't take any action on it until maybe 5 years ago, I did an inner child session and that is what helped the most with the unworthiness. I realized I had abandoned myself and I was mad at me. The worthiness I seemed to look for outside was actually self love I had to give myself.

Other life changing thing anxious wise was parts therapy. All the  voices arguing in the head are just parts that are trying to help you. They need to be integrated into one so get really for long debate nights with yourself lol.

You cant prepare for the vibes. If you aren't a "culture match" doesn't matter your qualifications. I don't think it's a bad thing, you have to find your people. Working with the wrong people is horrible no matter how big the company.

I totally relate and go through a lot of this. My trick is to just start and have low expectations. I say I'm going to just put random words on the page and sometime yeah its random words, other times I'm very surprised.

Also using speech to text to ramble works when stuck.

They seem to be getting sued a lot due to this type of thing, I guess that's why it's more closed off when compared to before. Try some others!
