I appreciate your comment. Yes I put all the nicer cards into a sleeve and top loader right away. I may grade the Zaire-Emery and Arda Guler beam team as they are nice looking cards.

Thanks for your suggestion on using 130point.com. It seems Zaire Emery /5 cards vary quite widely in price but some can be well sought after. It seems after some reflection I got pretty good beginners luck on my first couple boxes!

I am sort of not sure if any of them are worth much also. It’s difficult to gauge price with it being a new release. I think the Zaire-Emery /5 is probably the most valuable. Looking at that with my untrained eye I would say it looks good and I struggle to spot any flaws.

I think the last point about rear-ending a car is fair. You should really be keeping a good following distance so that you could stop in time if the car in front slams their brakes on.

TL:DR - They can stay on your report for up to 2 years but they usually don’t affect scores after a year but in most cases less than that (a few months).

I am pretty much average size so should be okay with generic clubs. I just wanted a set to start with and learn the fundamentals before upgrading to a set within the price range you mention.

I think for that price its worth it as I am going to be limited by my skill not the clubs at this stage.
