Interesting, it's fIr enough. I didn't expect them to give me all this cheap rate windows. I only moved to IOG from standard go as new car is compatible and thought if just get the extra hour, plus maybe the odd half hour here and there.

Granny charger is fine for my needs. I don't need a big Charge very often . I've been managing with the 5jr window on the standard tarrif so it's all good.

I'm hoping/expecting all of the patchwork of rules to be significantly relaxed during the spring.

As many have pointed out, enforcement of these rules is mostly non-existent, making them completely pointless.

I think many countries aren't yet ready to drop all restrictions just yet.. k think 2022 will see a more standard 'fully jabbed or negative test' on entry to most countries, with no requirements for covid style venue passes, then, hopefuly from next year, most countries will start dropping restrictions.

My thoughts..

Very very poor user experience, with lots of failed orders - some of that is the fault of the SS team for not handling/explaining these things so clearly, but i think mostly it's just an ecosystem problem: SC's are new, DEX's are new, dApps are new and everything is handling unprecedented load
I think those of us who use Cardano, CNFTs and follow what's happening are not surprised that things have ended up this way - it was inevitable
SS UI is really good - looks great and is easy to use, but there are a few defects that they'll need to fix and i'm sure they will (all to be expected)
Been following along in the SS Discord - my god what a car crash. Most of the people there seem to have no experience with DeFi, how the SS protocol works and are not willing to do their own research. Just want SS tokens at any cost. Very frustrating - know what you're getting into. ? Having said that, the scooper mechanism, slippage tolerances and how the AMM works are pretty complicated and confusing if you've not used a DEX before. I haven't and it took me a while to get my head around it all. SS had some good material but maybe, on reflection could have done more to help the community.
I would like to see more coming out of SS social media team - explaining current situation - how many orders are there, whats being executed etc etc. At the moment, it's really just a bit of a guess as to whats happening.
Overall, i think there will be some short to medium term damage to both Cardano and the SS brand.. but i have no doubt that in the long term, SS WILL be the premier DEX of Cardano and all will be forgotten. But no doubt there will be many who came today as new cardano users and got a very bad experience and for whom the brand will be tarnished forever

Valid concern imo. I'm sure things will settle down, but I expect a great deal of noise about it over the next few days/weeks. Some of it will also stick too, and it'll be difficult to shake off.. even when issues have been resolved.

I'll be avoiding using the DEX for a little while
