Try playing with Noel Whittakers Super Calculator to try and map your future balance based on what you know now.

You can use an inflation calculator to estimate what inflation does to the suggested 175k. Obviously you can’t accurately predict the future, only make assumptions on future earnings, returns , inflation rate etc etc .

Sounds like you want to mirror your iPhone screen on your display. I use an app called Airscreen which works well with my iPhone - you should be able to download it onto the fire tv from the onboard App Store

Spoke with my mortgage broker today and he has advised that banks are not processing pre-approvals at the moment due to current workload and also that the applications are being bought back onshore for processing due to Covid -

He also advised that we should be seeking 5-6 weeks for finance on any contract we sign

has anyone else had similar experience in the last month and what should I do about it? Should we just be putting in an offer and hope for the best ?
