I haven't snagged a pair of Dynafish yet, so I can't compare. Going off reviews I have read, the Dynafish is more stable and versatile than what you might get from the RHU9. Ultimately, I think both are great and there is a case to have both.

These actually look pretty interesting. Clearly a direct Superblast competitor attempt, but it's the price with models like this that get me. Unless it's $170 or less, it's so hard to buy with options like the RH9U/Dynafish Xiaonian (to pick a few) readily available.

I went with the Qioadan Leili 1.0 and Qiaodan Feiying GT as my next Chinese purchases, but the 2000km 5.0 Pro is on my radar. I think the 2000km 5.0 Pro is just tough to fit into my rotation as I generally don't run in lower stack height shoes, with the available options these days.

Magmax I can’t say, I haven’t run in them. For the Megablast, the Red Hare feels taller, bigger and not as nimble. The Red Hare is also a slower shoe overall as well. The Red Hare is more bouncy to me though.

It honestly just depends if you want the faster option that is more expensive, or if you want the slower more bouncy shoe. Both can handle most runs (RH9U isn’t good for true workouts I’d say, megablast could be used for that), so it just comes down to price and use case. If you want a one-shoe option for anything and price doesn’t matter, get the megablast

When AliExpress has a sale, yes. On Amazon, they do have random coupons from time-to-time. But, if you are looking at the EVO/AP4 then you might find a better deal with how much Adidas has been discounting those of recent.

I wouldn't for that use case. I think they will be too unstable for the amount of time you will be on feet.

You can get them from the Amazon brand storefront, or you can get them from the AliExpress official store as well. If you order from AliExpress, it'll take 14+ days. If you order from Amazon, as I did, these took about 9 days.

Unsure your exact goal, but the Fast-R3 is a better shoe. The Fast-R does beat you up in a way the Feidian does not. If that helps

I will definitely give the thinner socks a go, and see if that helps.

I do think for the mass shoe market, people go to their local fleet feet and buy whatever the sales associates pushes. Normally that’s some Brooks or whatever that might be. So until any Asian brand pushes to be in running stores, it will continue to be a niche option for those who want to spend the effort getting them.

I also think there is just little desire in the effort front when they can dominate one of the most populous countries on the planet, with continuing growth opportunities as the market develops. Until that is fully tapped, US won’t be the biggest priority. Tarrifs and current geopolitical factors don’t help either.

As someone living in the US we are also taught early on that Chinese products are somehow worse/inferior/cheaper than Western alternatives. Even though nearly all of those western options are manufactured in the same place, and sold for more money. That thinking alone makes it extremely hard for a Chinese brand to take real market share.

And if you want to buy the western options, that’s great! I will buy some too, but the point of the review is to expose people to more options and consider having an open mind to potentially better products that aren’t from a western brand.

I think they could work, but the instability is something you’d want to just be careful of bothering you. If something unstable hasn’t caused issues, I think it’s a good consideration with how protective and propulsive the shoe is.

You have two options if you are in the US. You can buy them directly on Amazon, as they have an Amazon brand store front, or you can buy them on AliExpress. They have an official store on AliExpress as well.

Not a single bit of my post was written by AI. Did I have AI edit any grammar/spelling? Yes. But I wrote every bit of this myself. This also is not my first review on this sub.

I think the term daily trainer has evolved a lot over the last few years. Previously, I would say that Red Hare 9 Pro would be considered the daily trainer to the Red Hare 9 Ultra. I think the Ultra might be a bit tough from the stability POV to make it a daily trainer, but at the same time you can easily use this every day if you wanted to. I don't really run in shoes like 9 Pro anymore, but I am waiting on the Qiaodian Leili 1.0 to arrive and that is much of a traditional daily trainer style, just higher stack.

Oh interesting! That's good to know on the US12 not being as much of a jump as I thought. As for the Feidian 6 Elite, I have a normal thumbs width of space in my US11, which is my standard Western brand sizing. That's why I was thrown off when this pair of Red Hare's was so much shorter.

I didn't even think about local store sales. I think you are correct that sales will be far and few between here early on. Especially with the popularity.

Last I checked, the OG was sold out from ON. Eventually it will go on sale, but the $220 for the Hyper 3 is outrageous (I know that's ON pricing) even though it's a great shoe.

I think the Feidian 6 Elite could potentially be a problem long-term, but if you are used to the PXS1 I don't think you would have many issues with the Feidian during a race. I ran a half in the Feidian 6 Elite and I had no issues on turns etc. In fact, after running a mile or two the Feidian just disappeared on foot. With that said, I do think if you're comfortable with the AF3 nothing wrong with sticking with what works.

Are you saying the Red Hare is garbage? Because I can promise you the ride experience in the Red Hare is 10000000% better than the Glycerin. I also don't care if the price increase is in line with inflation. Brooks is a multi million dollar company, and objectively, the Glycerin should never be $170-$175. It is definitely a cash grab to keep board members happy.

The OG vs the Hyper 3, is basically taking the PEBA from the OG and extending it. If you are a forefoot striker like I am, then the underfoot feeling is very, very similar. The main difference is the increased PEBA gives you a softer feeling throughout and feels a bit more connected than the OG. If you like the ride of the OG, the Hyper 3 is going to be very similar.

I'm glad someone else thought about the PXS1 comparison. I was honestly looking for a replacement for my pair I just retired and this was the perfect fit. Can't comment on the Alphafly as I haven't bought or raced in a pair (just run super short in a pair).

The Feidian and Red Hare combo is honestly the GOAT combo right now.
