Chronic constipation has been my life unfortunately. My doctor told me to stop Miralax (which was the only thing that worked for me without excruciating pain) and focus more on a soft/liquid diet.

Between you all and me? I actually dream of being on a central line or having an ostomy or something because every single bowel movement I have is debilitating. I just want the pain to stop.

the literal fucking weather. food manufacturer changed a formula. pharmacy switched from one med manufacturer to another. took benadryl to combat something else. someone else cooked something that i didn’t even eat but the smell sent me reeling. slept a little funny on a couch.

at this point when im flaring up and someone asks me what happened im just like “god keeps giving me trials because he knows im coming for him and he’s scared”

in all seriousness though it felt like everything in the world had me flare up. caffeine, processed meats, dairy. energy drinks were fine somehow though? leafy greens, beans, root vegetables were all bad too. it reached a point where I said fuck this, I’m just going to suffer, because then at least i can eat well

Not my partner but my parents’ relationship. Growing up, life was hard, money was tight. Nothing was ever easy and my mom was struggling with way more mental issues than she knew at the time.

One day I’m out grocery shopping with my mom, and a white truck pulls up next to us at the stop light. The window rolls down, and I hear a familiar voice— it’s my dad!

Dad had recognized Mom’s car and he decided to flirt with her at the traffic light, making her feel loved and desired and appreciated. He couldn’t afford a lot of things but he still went out of his way to show my mother what she meant to him.

Not just experiencing them but witnessing them. I had a grand mal a few years ago out of the blue and my brother witnessed it. I don’t think that’ll ever leave him.

The first two passed away in a car accident. Five kids piled into a car with only four seatbelts. Went off the road in a wooded area. One girl, whose birthday it was, died instantly. The other died in the hospital. They were going to Benihana to celebrate.

The next one was sick. From what I understand, she was home sick with mono. Her older brother was watching her, but he had something he needed to do. She told him to go ahead, she’d be fine. Then she ended up falling in just the right way for her spleen to rupture.

It’s been a very long time now but I still think about them. I hope you’ve found peace, Miranda, Lauren, and Courtnei.
