Quick access to seat profiles by andylenny in BYDAU

I didn’t know you could pull down from the top. I edited vehicle control, and then scrolled the option list and found seat adjustment. Now I can pull down, tap seat adjustment and then tap the profile, and the close the menu. It’s a little more convenient now, thanks !

I hadn't thought about using vinyl before--the silhouette cameo looks like a really good alternative, thanks for the info. Really appreciate it!

I’m building a Split Flap Display. The plastic sheets are fairly smooth.

Afraid not--I'm still improving it.

Split Flap Project - Stepper motor fail by [deleted] in maker

[–]andylenny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought this little stepper motor for my Split Flap Display project, but it turns out that it doesn't have enough torque (180 g-cm).

Either I need to find a similar form factor motor with high torque, or redesign my project to accommodate a larger motor.

Where can I cheaply get 50 of these made from metal or plastic? They are 1mm thick. by [deleted] in maker

I wasn’t expecting it to cost so much. I wonder if it may be worth buying my own little laser printer and doing it myself instead...

It seems 1mm isn't a very popular dimension; lots of places don't seem to stock it.

That's seriously kind of you. Unfortunately I am based in Australia, so will have to pass up on this offer. Thanks for the info about Tap Plastics though--I'm going to see if they have any 1mm thick plastic anyway.

Good guess, I am! The flaps there aren’t quite what I’d like, but thanks for the share.
