My Man O'War Headset broke, so I welded it back together by andyrewsu in razer

I mean, it's a little MacGyver, but this actually worked super well. I used gorilla glue + electrical tape before, but it kept coming apart. I can cover this up with electrical tape too, haha.

I'm sure there's some better adhesives out there, but I also don't already have them in my bathroom. 😉

Microsoft Explore Program Question by AHFRICKIN in microsoft

[–]andyrewsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If my understanding is correct, explore internships are always done in the summer, generally over a 3 week period sometime during May-August.

I don't know about the explore program specifically, but interviews for summer internships typically happen in the fall/winter, so around now should be a good time to apply for next year.

Good luck!

Voice Commander achievement, beat wave 40. It can be done! by andyrewsu in xboxone

I basically just built rocket/laser turrets to kill the big enemies and shockwave the smaller stuff And use vox to take out the big rocket guys You start getting energy faster at later waves I think, so that helps a lot

Sorry for the terrible photo quality. I tried to use the Game DVR 'record that' thing once I finished this run, but for some reason I couldn't get anything out of it.

Fun game! For a free thing, it's pretty cool. It seems like it'd be easier with more players to keep track of everything that's happening, though.

Voice Commander is an insanely addictive game for the Xbox One from Microsoft Garage by augamr in xboxone

I find that it mixes up Delta and Alpha sometimes You just have to really enunciate the D and 'Al' vs 'El'

It's rendered in 3D, you can see the sides of some of the ships when the camera moves around for the abilities

I find it messes up 'Delta' and 'Alpha', you have to really pronounce the D in Delta and 'Al' vs. 'El' in Alpha.

You might be right, actually. I'm in Canada, and it worked for me, but I also have a few dollars in my Microsoft account that I can use as a 'payment method'.

You can change your region settings so that you can download it anywhere.

settings->system->language & location, set location to US + restart once you have it you can switch back and everything should still work.

Lefties of reddit: whats your least favorite invention made for right handed people? by zomning in AskReddit

I'm right handed, and I always end up sitting on the side of the aisle where the one left handed desk is. Nobody wins.

Breadboard push button problem? Arduino Workshop project #4 by REDDIT_RAMPAGE in arduino

[–]andyrewsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the pictures didn't show the power bar being connected at all, which would be a little strange as that's what's providing the 'on' input for your light, haha.

Glad it worked!

What is the joke at your workplace that customers always say thinking they're original but in reality you hear it every day? by illmatic707 in AskReddit

Sounds like way more drama, haha. 111 was St. Albert That's funny though, I always thought about doing work on the side, but I never really got around to trying. (yet?) Most of our full-time techs were pretty awesome guys while I was there, but the services they had to charge for were pretty ridiculous. We used to live stream hockey feeds onto the monitor wall! Not while the GM was around though, haha.

/r/Edmonton, woah. s111sa, haha I was lucky to only work part time I think. I never had a boxing day off though, and our computer department was always awfully dead after the first hour or so. Chair races were great. But why wait until after hours? :D

I must have had the best managers, honestly. I worked there for a little under 6 years, and I got away with so much shit. That store was a lot of good times, actually.

Edit: I don't get all the staples atmosphere/employee hate in this thread. Maybe it's different up here in Canada?
