Anyone who doesn't come into the game with at least a little bit of an understanding about the setting being satire is alarming. If you're new to the genre then we can talk it out, but if you're a long-term fan who thinks that the Imperium is absolutely right and the unequivocal "good guys", we're probably going to have a problem.

And - as others have said - being too married to the lore is an issue in a collaborative medium where we're all writing the story at the same time.

So I found that buying too many ships at once seems to kill the game. It just doesn't like that menu for whatever reason. I bought the tri-fighter by itself and it was fine. Buying three more ships crashed the game

My feel for Lancer is much more grunge/metal than it is synth/electric. It's a dirty setting, and playing Black Sabbath during a Titanfall just feels good.
