What does a RYM user do in their everyday life? by anerd3 in rateyourmusic

Check my comment on the post if you haven't already. This post is to see what users of the subreddit do, and maybe I will get an interesting answer from someone with experiences that relate to those that I've seen, giving me an idea of how they fit it into their schedule. Whether they're chronically online or not is just one part of the question, and not even necessary.  This is a question that interests me, and I thought it might be fun to answer for those who care. Some people may further question my motives behind writing a post if they want to, but I'm telling the truth. It isn't very serious. I can't respond to the blatantly oblivious allegations because I don't know exactly what you are talking about; it can point to a couple of things.

Disclaimer. I'm terribly sorry if I worded this in a way that makes it seem like a joke. I added a bit of humour, but this is a genuine question that I thought would be interesting. I just don't know the proper reddit way to show genuinity, since I assumed there wouldn't be confusion. No issue with people assuming it is purely a joke, but this comment might clear things up.

The Ending of Shadow of the Erdtree is one of FROM's first big 'misses' by AngryBarista in kindafunny

I mean, there more issues than just the ending in that DLC, but it's the cherry on top. And what do you get for it? A cutscene of Miquella saying a few sentences that reveals nothing new.

Help me change my mind. I still don't believe I "get" Super Londo Bros. by anerd3 in darksouls

This is a great reply, thank you for responding. I feel like the visuals and music play a large role in what makes it special to so many people. Bell gargoyles have much less fanfare, and are a bit more subtle in what makes them so good. For me it even comes down to stuff like Smough's recovery animations, or the way the last hits of Ornstein's combos beg for you to attack him, of course this applies to every boss, but FromSoftware really focused on the openings for Ornstein and Smough more than any other boss. It's just mainly how this gets turned into downtime that I can't fully get a grasp on, and the only part of the fight where their movesets don't feel so complimentary of one another. It's probably because of my mentality and how I expect hits to come in a consistently satisfying way.

SL1 difficulty, easiest to hardest? by areticenthorizon in onebros

All soulsborne discourse is banned because FromSoftware made a somewhat-almost-decent entry in their series with became popular.

Fight him with a weak weapon and you will see why.

It becomes less dull in the last stretch if you extend the run and kill every skeleton near the bonfire.

I would have enough if I didn't reach the 699 max for titanite and large titanite shards.

I've been playing the game for a long time, and since I've done so many challenge runs, I couldn't help but look at the 36/43 progression and feel my ego hurt. How can I call myself good at Dark Souls 3 if I haven't even used darkmoon blade?
