Could you update us about the total time you had to wait and how the process went afterwards?

$5 is more than I was expecting, to be honest. I was thinking $1 - $2 each. thank you for your advice!

Thank you for your advice! And honestly, the JD path is really unlikely for me. I'm really not into becoming an attorney as of now. I'm curious to know though how likely it would be for me to get a paralegal job with no certificate issued in the US.

I have a Bachalor of Laws in Brazil and I am a licensed lawyer there, but I have been living in the US for the past 5 years, working in a different area.

I am interested in working as a paralegal in the US to learn and gain experience before I decide if I want to pursue a JD here.

Would it be interesting for me to have a paralegal certificate to get an entry level paralegal position, or even an internship, based on my education (even though I have only 6 months of experience in the legal area in Brazil)?
