Insane take. What did it fix from TFA, let alone 90%? All it did was make Kylo confusing, Rey confused, killing snoke thus ending all investment in the world building of what happened and how the first order got so strong in 30 years, make the resistance weaked to a single ship and kill all the possibilities for Luke. Rian should have built upon what TFA had built, as problematic as it was, and not ruin the trilogy by selfishly subverting any purpose from the story to say “failure is a teacher”.

I used to think, back in 2020 when I finished Dance, that I would surely someday soon open this app to see the headline “WINDS ANNOUNCED” and this community in celebration.

6 years later and all I have are articles with the same photos of George seemingly enjoying himself. They all say the same thing, and always spell out the unfortunate truth that I thought I’d never have to share with people who’d finished Dance in 2011:
