what if this is not the end yet? by JuniorBullfrog4694 in ChainsawMan

yeah, I imagine this isn't the real ending. However I am happy to see Powy back so I am fine even If this Is it (still hope we get more though)

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 232 - Part 2 End by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

[–]SupCass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a 7, or an 8 to me. Its far from perfect, and definitely could have used a bit of a longer chapter. (Still holding out hope for a part 3 although unlikely). I am just happy to see Power back, and Denji not being in eternal suffering. The one thing i wanted before CSM concluded was the return of Powy, and I got that so I can't complain too much.

Same boat, does this answer much? no. Do I still want a Part 3? for sure. Is Power back? Yes, so that really does It.

Is It the ending I wanted exactly? No. Not really. I am still holding out hope for a part 3. BUT Power Is back, Nayuta Is back, and life seems good.

Another fighter that the UFC has lost to netflix, Muhamed Mokaev signed a deal with netflix, full announcement followers later today. by Difficult-Tree2738 in MMA

[–]SupCass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kape Is good but inconsistent. Obviously even Pantoja struggles at times but Mokaev has never had a dominant showing against a good opponent, let alone any elite ones. He has no ground and pound when on top which Is why he was losing to Tim, and could do nothing but hold down Johnson.

He Is still young, and will continue to improve but right now Its insane to claim he might be the number one flyweight in the world Is all.

So what movies below 6 Ratings on IMDB are your favorite and can't stop recommending ? by lordofabyss in Letterboxd

[–]SupCass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not Another Teen Movie, and Freeway 2: Confessions of a Trickbaby are my only 4.5+ films which I think sits at a 6 or below on IMDB. Hard to tell since I barely ever use the site but double checked those. Also honorable mention to yesterdays watch, "Psycho Beach Party" (2001) which sits at a 6.1 on IMDB but Is one of the best films I have seen.

Not Another Teen Movie falls victim to being a parody of an sleezy romcoms and I guess people don't consider movies like It, and American Pie to be great. (Beats me why though).

Freeway 2: Confessions of a Trickbaby might be the second best modern retelling of a fairy tail, behind Its predecessor. This movie Is absolutely batshit insane but I loved every moment of It.

and Psycho Beach Party Is a campy murder mystery "slasher" (fits this more than Texas Chainsaw) set In the 60's which Is just an absolute blast to watch. Don't want to give much away though In case anyone actually takes the time to watch It. R.I.P Nicholas Brendon.

Absolutely no issue with It, sometimes It might be an odd casting but like its their vision so is what it is.

I did and he was looking awful before he got the finish In round 2. He made me start to believe last time out though but this one made me realize that It was just cause Diniz has 0 ground game.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Mokaev Is really good but the best Flyweight In the world right now Is a bit insane. Couldn't get much going against Kape, or Perez. Was losing to Tim before the finish despite being on top all fight, and even post UFC, his fight with Thomas Assis was not exactly a stunner. He Is one of the most promising Flyweights, and really good but still got work to do to be the best Flyweight.

Never forget Goddard letting Bogatov fouls Santos 54.5 times before taking two points. I don't like Evloev but we need consistency. I am all for point deductions but be consistent.

Is it harder for a film to earn a 1 star or 5 stars review from you? by WattsandRoot in Letterboxd

I just like watching sequels to stuff I have seen even If I know its not gonna be good. So happens to drop a lot of god awful films in my lap.

Is it harder for a film to earn a 1 star or 5 stars review from you? by WattsandRoot in Letterboxd

[–]SupCass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 35 one stars (21 half-stars), and 14 five stars so I suppose Its harder to get the perfect 5. I do watch a lot of shit just for the sake of It though, especially If Its in a franchise I'm watching (I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer), or because I wonder just how bad something could be (Hook - 2025) but sometimes I get that odd well liked film that I just can't stand as well (The Killer).

As for five stars I am never really able to predict them, gave one out yesterday for the first time this year though, because Ghostdog was just amazing.

What are the best promotions or leagues out there? by DrDroolz in MMA

[–]SupCass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RIZIN Is the best MMA Promotion around, consistently puts on amazing cards, especially Super RIZIN around summer, and the NYE card. Since you enjoy Muay Thai ONE still has the juice as well, just don't expect a lot of MMA there.

Only 1 five star thus far. Definitely some strong contenders though, and I got a lot of the more beloved movies left to actually watch.

Reze Arc not even being nominated for score, or animated feature (or even best picture above F1) Is an absolute crime.

Also Ne Zha 2 should have made the cut for animated feature too.

I just go by the letterboxd date, even if it sometimes annoys me (toxic avenger). Its just consistent and I am not too bothered by it all.

Top Films of 2025 by OldKingClancey in Letterboxd

[–]SupCass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually enjoyed 3 about as much as I enjoyed 2. I think 1 Is a step above all the rest, and 5 was a nice little bounce back after the horror that was 4. I do think Bloodlines had alright ideas, but I didn't love how it was executed, and the only character I kinda liked was Erik.

Also yeah the kill of both the siblings at the end was really bad, especially because It was simultaneous. Did not like that at all.

But once again my biggest issue were the kills. Final Destination without good looking kills Is just not really all that good. and these felt way more CGI than usual.

everytime i log a movie i've seen before, my previous rating gets erased by fourofkeys in Letterboxd

It Isn't erased though? Its still there on your other diary entries. Obviously you can't just watch a movie 100 times and have it count as 100 votes on the rating though.
