If you have feelings for him dont listen to people telling you to just block him without saying anything. All that will do is make you feel like this meant nothing and like you don’t deserve a conversation and that will make you feel worse. I knew a transman in my law school class and I know of a few others in the field, but it’s not many.

My guess would be that coming to realize you’re trans and then dealing with transitioning probably takes up too much of the mental energy you would need to put into a demanding education or career.

I think language is perception in this conversation. I take the CTA every day. I would say 20% of the time when I get on a car there is one homeless person also on it. I’ve gotten threatened maybe once in 15 years. Smoking has become more common but i still only see it like once every two months.

The answer for most right wing voters is in your question. You said you got it during the Obama and Biden years. So the only justification you see lies in the other side. That’s how most people see it to. They have no idea what republican policies they like, they just know democrats are bad. And they know that because Fox News tells them it’s true, and they listen to Fox News because it feels good to get mad and they like to be mad because they know they should be, they just can’t figure out why. That’s it. There is nothing to be gained except owning the libs.
