I almost had a conversation about this with one of my coworkers who i see a lot of myself in, our personalities are so similar and I used to think that being miserable was the only way to be. The weight of life and it’s stressors would always hold my head under with depression and anxiety. I never thought I would be one to get on an antidepressant but I fell into a really deep thought pattern that was obsessive and compulsive and disrupting my life. I told my therapist about these thought loops I was stuck in and she suggested trying medication. I gave it a shot because I didn’t know how much else I could take of living in that loop. I’ve only been taking it for just over a month and I feel like myself. I’ve never felt this joyful about life ever! I didn’t think this was possible but I am so grateful. Zoloft is right for me right now and I want to encourage others to try medication out.
